🚨 This Act of Kindness is Going Viral. ❤️
18-year-old Jordan Hope from Maricopa, Arizona, was driving past a Walgreens when he spotted an elderly man (Mr. Roy, about 80) using a walker, his shoes literally falling apart.
Without hesitation, Jordan pulled over, took the shoes off his own feet, and gave them to him. He didn’t stop there—he went back, bought the man his favorite candy, arranged a rideshare because of his leg issues, followed to make sure he got home safely, and stayed to talk.
Jordan had no idea a bystander was filming. He later learned Mr. Roy had lost his wife just two weeks earlier and was trying to manage grief, health struggles, and daily life alone. Now the two check in every day.
Jordan started a GoFundMe that has raised over $22,000 to help with groceries, medicine, and transportation. He said he simply felt prompted to stop: “It’s not that hard to be nice. You never know what someone is going through.”
